If you're a learning provider

We're currently developing a network of high quality training and education providers with the aim of directing employers, employees already working in the sector, and young people, towards the best training.

We are establishing a feedback process so that each of these groups can tell us about their satisfaction, about the training's relevance, its benefit to them and its value for money.

The Cogent strategy is that training supply and skills development and the related systems of qualifications, should be employer-led. Working closely with learning providers, we are developing key programmes including revising apprenticeships, skills academies and upskilling the Cogent sector workforce.

We're also working with employers to increase opportunities to boost the skills and productivity of every single person in the Cogent workforce - learning providers are central to the achievement of this aim.
